As pet owners ourselves we were frustrated with the quality of the products available to pet owners across the world and as designers, we decided to do something about it. The DB’s is intended to be playful, humorous, intuitive and to care for your pets needs. During the design process, we looked at common problems pets and owners face at home, boredom, stress, hunger, chewing. In many cases a lot of the issues caused by dogs can come down to things like boredom or stress and so we looked at innovative ways of addressing those problems.
Because we wanted owners to want to buy the products as well, we decided to build all of our ideas around the central theme of visual humour and fun. Hence why the first three products to launch in the series are intended to make the owners smile and care for the dog.
Made of natural rubber the products are perfect for chewing and also have the capability to be filled with treats and spreads to keep the dog occupied.

"Groovy Grenade"
The first in the series is the "Groovy Grenade", a fun throw and chew toy that has an ability to place treats in the outer slots of the product to occupy the dog and give them a play element to feeding. It also features a long open cavity in the bottom of the unit that allows longer chews to be placed inside and accommodate safe chewing. What more could a dog want.
"Deadly Dynamite" The second on our list, in keeping with the cartoon explosive theme, is the "Deadly Dynamite", a stick like throw toy that is also perfect for chewing. The natural rubber body is ideal for both mild and strong chewers and its familiar form and colour appealing to dogs. The design also doubles up as an interactive pull toy that pets love and the cavity in the bottom gives it its third function of feeding and occupying the dog. Ideal for a trip to the park, a game in the living room or for the dog to play with when the owner is not at home, the TNT stick is a blast!
The third in the range is the the fun but controversial "Marijuana Joint". With recent changes to US laws, Marijuana and its compounds are no longer illegal and certain elements of those have been found to relax and calm stressed dogs. What better way to play with that idea than with a MJ chew toy. This ’spliff’ is ideal for throwing and interacting with the dog, but it also has a a cavity that allows for treats and spreads to be placed inside it and give the dog a fun and interesting way to play and get food.
These are the first of many new pet toys and treats available under the DB’s brand, we will be sure to show you the new items as they come out. What more could your pet want. In the case of these first dog toys, its a ball, its a chew toy, its a feeder, its the DB’s!
